Delete it in the app (fastest)
- Open Parley and sign in.
- On the home screen, tap the ⋯ menu at the top right.
- Tap Delete account, then confirm.
Your account is deleted right away, on iPhone and Android alike.
Can’t open the app?
Email [email protected] from the email address you use for Parley (or tell us which Google or Apple account you signed in with), with the subject “Delete my Parley account”. We confirm it’s you, then delete the account within 30 days and reply when it’s done.
Delete some data, keep your account
In the app, open the ⋯ menu on the home screen and tap What Parley knows. There you can:
- delete any single thing Parley remembers (tap the trash icon next to it);
- delete or change the answers you gave when you joined;
- tap Forget everything to erase all of it at once.
You can also tell Parley in a conversation to forget something. Deleted items are removed right away. To delete a specific message draft, open it from the home screen and tap Discard. You can also email [email protected] and we will delete the data you ask for within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in.
- Your first name and the answers you gave when you joined.
- What Parley remembers about you and your conversation summaries.
- Your weekly check-in answers and summaries.
- Your messages that are still drafts, and your notification token.
- If you are paired, the pairing ends; your partner keeps their own account.
Parley never keeps recordings of your voice.
What may be kept
- Messages you already chose to send through “Help me say this” stay with your partner, because they are now theirs.
- Purchase records that Apple or Google keep for subscriptions, and records we must keep for tax or legal reasons.
- Our AI service provider may keep conversation data for up to 30 days to check for abuse, then deletes it.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions) or in your Apple ID settings (Subscriptions) to stop future payments.
