Privacy Policy — Parley

Last updated: October 18, 2026

Parley is operated by CHNH CORP (“CHNH CORP”, “we”, “our” or “us”), the Canadian company behind LenzVive and Lenz AI. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Parley: AI Couples Mediator app for iPhone, Apple Watch and Android (the “Service”), how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using Parley you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. How Parley works, in brief

Parley is built so that each partner’s conversation with their coach stays private by design, not just by promise. You and your partner each talk to the same AI coach, but from your own account, and your partner cannot read your transcript or hear your recording. The only things that can ever cross between you are: a short, AI-generated summary of themes (an “insight”) that your coach may use internally to help your partner’s own session, and any message you explicitly choose to send to your partner through the app’s “Help me say this” feature. Neither partner can read the other’s raw private memory or session content.

2. Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address, and if you sign in with Apple or Google, the name and email they share with us, and the first name you choose for Parley to call you. We also record your confirmation that you are 18 or older and the date you accepted our terms.

Conversations. Your voice is streamed live to our voice-processing provider to hold a conversation with your coach and is transcribed for that purpose; we do not keep a recording of your raw audio after the session ends.

Private memory. Your coach may keep a small number of short, third-person facts about you (for example, your partner’s name or something you’re working on) so it can pick up conversations naturally. This memory is visible only to you in how it shapes your own sessions, and you can ask your coach to forget any fact at any time.

Onboarding answers. When you join, Parley asks a few short questions, for example how long you’ve been together, what is hardest right now, how you tend to react when things get tense, and whether you ever feel unsafe with your partner. Your answers are stored privately in your own account. They are never shown to your partner or included in the summaries shared with them, and they are used only to tailor your own conversations with Parley (they are passed to our voice-processing provider as part of your session instructions, like the rest of your conversation). You can review, change or clear them at any time in the app, and deleting your account removes them.

Shared insights and messages. Your coach may generate a brief, cleaned-up insight from your session to help guide your partner’s coach — this is never your raw words or transcript. If you use “Help me say this” to send a message to your partner, that message is stored and becomes visible to your partner once delivered.

Purchase information. Subscriptions are handled by Apple’s App Store on iPhone and by Google Play on Android; we receive confirmation of your purchase and its status, but never your card details.

Usage and device information. We collect basic technical information such as your app version and device type, a push-notification token so we can send the notifications you allow, and how much talk time you have used each day so we can apply daily limits. If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may also share crash reports with us; on Android, Google Play may share crash and app-performance reports with us if you allow usage and diagnostics sharing in your device settings.

Support messages. If you contact us for help, we keep the content of that conversation to respond and improve our support.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to provide, maintain and secure the Service; to improve it, generally in aggregate and not by reviewing your individual conversations; to communicate with you about your account or the Service; and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your conversations to train AI models.

4. AI processing and service providers

We use these service providers, which process information on our behalf:

  • OpenAI powers live voice conversations with your coach (Realtime API), writes the short private summaries and memory notes after a session, and reads messages and check-in summaries aloud. Under OpenAI’s API terms, API content is not used to train their models, and OpenAI may keep it for up to 30 days to detect abuse before deleting it.
  • Google Cloud / Firebase runs our backend: data storage, sign-in, and push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging). If you choose to sign in with Google, Google Sign-In handles that sign-in.
  • Superwall shows the subscription screen and keeps track of your subscription status.
  • Apple handles Sign in with Apple and processes App Store purchases and subscriptions on iPhone.
  • Google Play processes purchases and subscriptions on Android.

5. Analytics

Parley does not include analytics or crash-reporting tools, advertising trackers or ads. Our subscription provider, Superwall, records when the subscription screen is shown and what you purchase, linked to your account, so subscriptions work and we can see how the subscription screen performs. We may look at totals, such as how many conversations take place each day, to keep the Service running well.

6. Data retention

We keep your private memory, session summaries, onboarding answers and shared insights until you delete them, ask your coach to forget them, or delete your account. Deleting your account removes them right away, together with your weekly check-in answers and the insights kept in the space you share with your partner. We do not retain raw audio after a session ends; our voice provider may keep conversation data for up to 30 days to detect abuse, as described in section 4. Messages you sent through “Help me say this” stay with your partner after they are delivered. We keep subscription records as needed for legal, tax or accounting purposes.

7. Your rights and choices

You can see what Parley remembers about you and the answers you gave when you joined in the app, under the ⋯ menu on the home screen → What Parley knows, and change or delete any of it there. You can also ask your coach to forget a specific fact, or everything it remembers, at any time. You can delete your account in the app from the ⋯ menu on the home screen → Delete account, or request deletion without the app at lenzvive.com/parley/delete-account. Deleting your account removes your private memory, shared facts and personal data, except records we are required to keep by law; it does not unsend “Help me say this” messages you already sent. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information (for example under GDPR or CCPA); to exercise them, email us at [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.

8. International transfers

CHNH CORP is based in Canada. Some of our service providers, including OpenAI, process information in the United States and elsewhere. Where required, we rely on appropriate contractual safeguards for these transfers.

9. Age requirement

Parley is intended for users who are 18 or older, and we ask you to confirm this when you sign up. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the Service, please contact us so we can delete the relevant data.

10. Security

We use encrypted connections and limit access to your account’s data to authenticated requests from your own account. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your login credentials private and tell us right away if you suspect unauthorised access.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Parley evolves. We will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will notify you in the app.
