Terms & Conditions – Lenz AI

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Lenz AI, including the Lenz AI mobile apps for iOS and Android, the web app at lenzai.lenzvive.com and related services (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated by LenzVive (“LenzVive”, “we”, “our” or “us”), a company based in Canada.

By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Lenz AI does

Lenz AI provides AI-powered tools for creating and editing images and videos, including image generation, image-to-video and text-to-video, video editing, AI looks and templates, face swap, upscaling and background removal. Features may differ between platforms and may change over time.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Lenz AI, and at least 18, or have a parent or guardian’s permission, to make purchases.
  • Some features are available as a guest; most require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for everything that happens under your account.
  • One person may not operate several accounts to obtain extra free credits or promotions.

3. Subscriptions, credits and payments

  • Lenz AI offers free features with a small monthly credit allowance, paid subscriptions (currently weekly, monthly and yearly plans, depending on platform and region) and one-time credit packs. Current prices and what each plan includes are shown in the app before you buy.
  • All purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their terms. The web app does not sell subscriptions; upgrade in the mobile app and your plan applies to your account everywhere.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals and your plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
  • Credits are consumed by generations. Each plan’s credits refill at the start of each billing period. Details are in our Credits Policy and Subscription & Billing pages.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. Credits already spent are not refundable.
  • Refund requests: if you ask Apple for a refund of a purchase made in Lenz AI, you agree that we may share information about how you used that purchase (for example, whether it was delivered and how many credits you used) with Apple, to help Apple decide on your request.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Lenz AI to create, upload or share content that:

  • is sexually explicit, or sexualises anyone, and in particular any content involving minors;
  • depicts a real person in a false, deceptive or defamatory way, or uses someone’s face, voice or likeness without their permission;
  • is intended to harass, threaten, bully or incite violence or hatred against any person or group;
  • infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
  • is designed to deceive, including fake news, scams or impersonation of a real person or organisation;
  • is otherwise illegal in your country or in Canada.

You may only upload photos or videos of other people, including for face swap and AI looks, if they have given you permission. You may not attempt to bypass our safety filters, reverse engineer the Service, use bots or automation, or resell access to Lenz AI.

5. Your content and generated results

  • You keep ownership of the photos, videos and prompts you upload. You give us a limited licence to store and process them only as needed to provide the Service to you.
  • Subject to these Terms and to the rights of others, you may use the images and videos you generate for personal and commercial purposes.
  • AI output can be inaccurate, unrealistic or similar to output generated for other users. You are responsible for reviewing generated content before you publish it and for how you use it.
  • We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, and we may report illegal content to the authorities.

6. Intellectual property

The Lenz AI apps, website, design, software, templates and branding belong to LenzVive or its licensors. Except for the licence to use your generated results, nothing in these Terms gives you any rights in the Service.

7. Changes to the Service

We regularly add, change and remove features, AI models and pricing. We may also set limits on usage to keep the Service reliable. Where a change materially reduces what your paid plan includes, we will tell you in advance.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LenzVive disclaims all warranties and is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, loss of data, or loss of profits arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that consumer protection law gives you and that cannot be waived.

9. Termination

You can stop using Lenz AI and delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account or through our account deletion page. We may suspend or terminate your account if you break these Terms, if we suspect fraud, or if required by law. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription; cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute will be brought before the courts of Montréal, Québec, unless mandatory consumer law in your country gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page. If a change is material we will notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the new Terms.

12. YouTube API Services

Some LenzVive features use YouTube API Services, for example to publish our own videos to our YouTube channel. By using them you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. The Google Privacy Policy also applies. How we handle YouTube data is described in our Privacy Policy.
