Case study, not a client project. Montréal’s new street sweeper: a giant robot vacuum clears the fall leaves on a quiet Mont-Royal street. Posted on @lenzvive and the LenzVive Facebook page on October 22, 2025 with no paid media, and seen about 30 million times. Wait till the end.

The brief we gave ourselves
Make one fake out-of-home (FOOH) film with no client, no product and no budget, to prove the format on our own channels. The rule: a place everyone recognises, one impossible thing, and a payoff at the end.
How it was made
The whole shoot was a ten-second iPhone clip of the street in flat autumn light. The vacuum was modelled in 3D with the details people know from their own: the bumper, the sensor dome, the red accent. Thousands of simulated leaves lift, crush and clear behind it. A soft contact shadow and a faint reflection of the hedge on its top surface make it sit in the plate. Sound design, a low motor hum and leaf crunch, does the rest on a phone speaker.
Why it worked
A familiar place, one impossible detail, and a payoff. The scene is real, the sweeper is not, and the sound sells it. Nearly half the reach came from Facebook, where the comment section turned into the distribution: people tagging friends to ask whether the city really bought this. The full breakdown is in how we made a 30M-view FOOH film.
For your brand
This is the same recipe we use for client films: your product, placed in a street people recognise, built in CGI to be shared. A launch ad is $2,500 CAD in two days. See FOOH and CGI ads.
